Other Things You Might Want To Know


Please obey these rules as they are given, and don't expect them to be changed just for you. Breaking them can result in comments/pictures/posts being deleted, and in some of the worst cases you will be banned.

• Pictures must be worked on for over 20 minutes
  If your picture is even one minute below it will be deleted. Safety Saves are ok if they are under 20 minutes though. We will know if you just let the timer sit there and get over 20 minutes.
  
  
• No spamming
  No posting one word comments on people's pictures, like, "Hi." You can get short in the chat, but don't post something over and over like crazy. That will get you banned. Also don't post pointless pictures that is just a smiley face or a bunch of colors thrown together. Each picture uses more bandwidth on the server, and if the picture is mostly a white canvas or something, it's not worth it.
  
  
• Keep your art clean
  Some people who are at the oekaki are much younger than you, please remember that. No hentai/porn/yaoi/nudity/etc. SOME nudity is ok though, as long as it's for the art purposes and not other reasons...Bloody pictures are also ok, as long as you adult both types.
  
  
• No excessive cussing
  Yelling f*** everywhere isn't very pleasing to many people.
  
  
• Be nice!
  Don't insult people, cuss them out, say their picture stinks, etc. It makes them discouraged, and they might not hang around or draw anymore due to fear. I don't think you'd like to be treated badly and kicked out either, so don't do it to others.
  
  
• Respect the moderators
  If you get a mail from a mod telling you your picture was deleted for such and such reason, don't mail back screaming your head off. Mods are here to enforce the rules, and if you break them you have to face the consequences. If you really think what they did was unfair or wrong though, please tell Eevzy. A moderator's decision is final, and don't go against it.
  
  
• Don't have more than one safety save at a time
  We do allow safety saves (S.S's), but only one at a time. If you make a S.S or an unfinished picture, you must go back and finish it before creating another picture. If you have more than one, a mod will delete the oldest one. We just do this to save bandwith and quality of pictures, no one wants to see a bunch of sketches, do they?
  
  
• Don't bump without a good reason
  All members have the bump feature now for their pictures, but please do not bump an image until the picture is COMPLETELY done, or it was on page 20-something or lower down the line (higher in number). I repeat, do not bump a picture until it is completely done! It's bad because it pushes down everyone elses pictures!
  
  
• No oekaki rant pictures
  You are allowed to make pictures that rant about life/school/etc at this oekaki, but please, to prevent fights, don't make any rants about this oekaki or the members in it. If you have a problem with someone copying or if something is bothering you about this oekaki, just omail Eevzy (and Eevzy ONLY) and together we will work it out. It's a safer, more peaceful, and overall better approach to problems that arrise at the oekaki. There is also a ranting section on the forums to where you can rant until your heart is content.

• Send all weekly theme suggestions to Eevzy and only Eevzy. Suggestions sent to other mods will not be counted.
  
  
• Make the title of the omail sent to Eevzy "Weekly Theme". Nothing else, please.
  
  
• You don't have to wait for the weekly theme slot to be open, go ahead and send your suggestion while someone else's is up.
  
  
• You will be given credit for the suggestion in the notice.
  
  
• If your suggestion was received successfully, you will get a response with what week it will be posted.
  
  
• The weekly theme will change every Saturday.

• Please don't spam. It is a chat, of course, so you can expect to be sending short messages and plenty of smileys and "lol"s, but please don't sit there and say something over and over just because no one responds.
  
  
• If the chat says people are online, but they don't respond, please leave only one message. They are probably just busy or away from their computer. The message will NOT disappear and they will see it when they are around =).
  
  
• If you end up annoying another member, please ask them how you can stop annoying them. If it is something simple like "Please stop saying _____ over and over" try to adjust your chatting to suit their needs until they leave. If it is something unreasonable like "Stop being yourself" then please inform Eevzy or a mod about the issue.
  
  
• Failure to respect other members and mods in the chat will result in a warning, temporary ban, or permanent ban.

• This oekaki is for all types of art. Almost anything can be drawn here.
• You don't need to adult your pictures for size, the oekaki thumbnails them for you.
• If you want to hold a drawing contest, simply draw a picture for it and announce to to everyone.
• Uploaded pictures are NOT to receive Archives no matter the quality. It should be drawn on EPO itself! Otherwise it's not quite fair to other members. =)
• There might be slightly suggestive jokes or themes on some of the pictures at this oekaki. If you choose to read them it's your own concern, not ours. There is NO porn here though.
• Important notices are posted at the top of the page under 'Announcements'. Ones that are extra urgent or important are usually in a separate color to catch your eye.
• You should have fun here! ^^ If you don't like it for some reason, or something is bothering you, go ahead and tell Eevzy. She wont bite =)
