This is one of my nameless characters. I made him up a while ago but i haven't been able to figure out a name that fits him. .. He's dead, a ghost. The skull is his own, even thought i made it a little bit too small. Mwohoho.

AUGH THIS IS SO AWESOME. I love the melted wax and the way you shaded his hair! You should look online and see the words for 'Ghost' 'Spirit' or 'Phantom' in other language and see if you find anything you like.

I think sketching is perfectly fine! It's great to get down the basic idea you want before going absolutely crazy over anatomy and small details. >u< That and you always have the basic sketch in case you get too frustrated and start all over again. :3 I'm loving that face right now. I wanna see what it turns out to be!

Oh gosh, timer lies majorly, I kept getting distracted by Facebook, dA and mealtimes XD

Yeah, thought the weekly theme [if it is the theme for this week, and not last week ^^;] would be a good chance to get back on here rather than lurking every so often XD

So uhm, intro, yes...

I'm Mysti, you can call me Neko now if you want but most of you'll prolly have known me as Mysti XD I've been lurking and occassionally posting here with my various usernames from the age of around 11/12ish? I'm now coming up to 18, and hopefully I've improved a fair bit, I have on paper at least XD
I'm from England, like on the South coast =3 and I'm currently at college [well, high school if you're American, just to avoid confusion XD] studying Textiles, Fine Art, French and Japanese =3 when I'm older I'd like to be a translator...of books and maybe manga, not speech, like an interpreter ^^;;
I have a massive list of languages I want to learn, and I love learning about other countries and such. I think it's partly due to this that I love things like Hetalia and watching the Eurovision Song Contest every year XD

Uhmm....I don't know what else to say ^^;;

Oh, some of you might recognise Layla Snow, the human version of my fursona. Some lovely people drew me fanart/collabs of her a while ago X3
The one behind her is more like me irl, except I don't always have an idiot curl XD
I don't really know what I was trying to do with this pic, figures one of the few times I'm determined to draw something like this I have minor art block =/

Finally. Done. After hours of leaving it open and not working on it. Truly, this was supposed to be an incredibly simple cell shaded Joltik named Rayo who is a friend's Mystery Dungeon character. An Outlaw for that matter. But then I was like EXPERIMENT MWAHAHAHA *Thunder in the background* and took it... TOO far. Yeah I'd say too far. Honestly everything was a huge amount of accidents and BSing. Actually that's what I always do lately... But it turns out okay in the end so.. That's okay. xD I uploaded about 10 images onto dA to record my progress, pretty interesting to watch.

Either way THIS WAS SUPER FUN. And the oekaki loved me for the rest of it besides the initial flash issues.

I'm sorry about your boyfriend :c I'm hoping things will get better for you two. A horsey! <3 Horses are so gorgeous. I don't know much about them but I can certainly appreciate them.

The texture on this is so nice! Such an interesting choice for creating values! I love it. It's got a scratchy detail to it, but it's a wonderful texture all around! Especially for the shading on the back and spine area! And that simple reflecting is great!

Dear Lord, is working through an art block this hard? I guarantee that the amount of hours put into this was the amount of hours it took to draw and line it. I tried a different lining method, and reverted to an older, more bold coloring style. Clearly, I did the sexy Frederick no justice.

This character belongs to LaDragonFemme. I love him to pieces and it was an honor to get to draw him! I also want to thank her for helping me with the anatomy. It was quite generous of her.
