Beastiary Guidelines, Read these first! Options

Hey guys, this post contains the guidelines for creating beasts in Ezz. Remember, beasts can be permanent parts of Ezz, or come and go as they please since Ezz is ever changing. This board is for permanent beasts, aka beasts who are around so often that they are considered native to Ezz. Please only post beasts that are open for others to use in the RP's. If you want a private species, that is up to you to post it elsewhere!

Here is the template for beasts in Ezz. Remember that you can change it as you see fit, or add more, but most of the stuff in this template is required if you want your beast to remain a permanent part of Ezz in the future (I'm hinting at some cool stuff to come, here ;)).

BEAST NAME (If it has a species name)
LOCATION (clifftops, mountains, snowy plains, deserts, swamps, etc - this helps the RP author to place your beast in the right place)

General Statistics
(give a general idea of the abilities of the creature. Is it super strong but slow? Fast and witty? The stars can be used to help with this - one star being low, ten being godly)

Weight: unknown

Age Limits: Unknown - some think they live as long as the trees themselves (just give a general idea of if this animal is short-lived or ancient)

Add anything else here that you think needs to be said about the PHYSICAL side of this creature.

Habitat Statistics

(This is where you can include details of their habitats, nests / dens / living quarters, reproductive habits, etc)

The Crickacrickacrickablahchrucricka is a seclusive, monstrous creature, living deep in large forests. They are usually found in forests with very large trees, because they can disguise themselves to look like a large broken branch themselves. Their mating habits are unknown, since very few are even seen, and the people who usually have close encounters with studying them are crushed by how big they are etc etc etc blah, make a pretty description of all this. Add stuff about the habits and yearly doings of the creature.

Behavior

(How would this creature behave in a fight? Would they run? Rampage? Intelligently single out individuals in a party? You name it. Also, include general ideas about how the creature behaves and reacts to certain situations in this section. This gives RP authors an idea of how to make the creature react if it found a group of adventurers)

The crickkafka(forgot the name already) is a peaceful creature overall, who prefers to avoid fights as much as possible. They are very territorial though, and will quickly crush anything besides another crickacrisdk in their forested area. If the being can not be crushed easily, some have been observed to actually fight the creature by mostly swinging very large objects...blah, you know the deal.
