Fali snorted and unfolded her arms, leaning against the back of the couch and watching Donovan with a slight disbelief. "Me? Council material? You'll be sitting on your fat ass near your death bed when I'll see the day I'm in the Council." She swung her feet over the side of the couch, making sure not to hit anyone with her appendages before continuing on. "I'm going to be quite frank here in saying this, and if its out line I don't give a damn"

Fali took a deep breath before simply tilting her head slightly to the side, ears tilted forward and wings slightly splayed out, "I say we round em all up into one ginormous fucking place far, far away from here by means of them giving chase to us. Sacrifice a few men in the process of this next event of course cause we have to have some there to keep them in the place. And then, when they're confused as shit and most likely pissing thier pants in fear we'll drop a giant fucking bomb on them, eliminate all the problems at once. Though the lives of the halflings taken in the bombing wouldn't be in vain if we did it right. Because really, if a few have to die to save millions, so be it. If it works, it works."

"Jesus," Ava said, surprised. Her eyes went wide, and slowly, the thin line of her lips twitched upwards into a full blown smile. She liked that plan, mainly because she wanted to smell the blood run thick in the air on the day the bomb dropped.

Donovan shook his head, "I do not have a fat ass, Fali." The man chuckled at that, figuring there would never be a day where he would have to defend his rum. He was actually quite trim, thanks to years of training. "That's a rather--"

"AMAZING FUCKING PLAN!" Ava screamed and then collapsing into her chair, she began to laugh.

"Girl, your mouth is like a sewer," a voice scolded sternly, "be quiet or I will ask you to spend the night in your room." Yerrick Arden stood at the stairwell, his hand resting on the banister. He had combed back his silver hair and turned to look at his daughter who had quieted down quite a bit. "Fali," the man said, turning to look at the bat-girl, "if you'd please... Nuking an entire population of people would do us no good. We may have pummeled Queens to the ground, but they evacuated most of their men and women, thanks to our warnings." He smiled darkly and stepped forward, holding onto his paper with dear life.

"So, we can begin by..."

"Dad."

Yerrick turned to face his daughter, "what is it, Ava?"

"Nothing," she said with a sigh, but then changed her mind, "dad, can't you just tell us what we're going to do tonight? Instead of giving us this long big speech about stuff no one cares about. We need plans, not information muddled by your insistent desire for random fun facts and all the other useless crap you toss in there."

Donovan couldn't resist a small smile, Jesus - Ava was blunt! But hopefully it would get to Yerrick, as Donovan was getting antsy.

Cradres oddly sat silent for some time, his mind actually being smart and thinking about things applying to this meeting. He listened, but without much care to the ramblings of the room before finally he said "your assessment of things is right, yes they don't bother us as often, but the destruction of Queens also increased the intensity of their attacks. They....are more willing to kill now that they are sure were going to fight" He didn't move from where he was, or look at anyone in part but he know Donovan would sense he was talking to him.

Cradres pulled out his gun again and resumed cleaning it, then loading the gun with seven long, sharp tipped bullets. He actually fashioned his own bullets, adding a sharp tip with a kinda screw like front to cause the most damage to the body of which the bullets entered. Checking the gun a few more times he finally faced Yerrick. "what exactly do we plan on getting from killing...or kidnapping...people of higher status, all it dose is makes them want to shoot us more." Though Yerrick's and Cradres history went back enough for Yerrick to know, not many knew Cradres was smart under his....typical antics. Yerrick was one of the few who had seen him actually...in action being serious, but for now, he was still just a problem to people who didn't like him.

"So you're suggesting that we just take the abuse, Cradres?" Beryl replied to the winged man, but did not look at him directly. "I don't think nukes are the answer, but I really don't think pussy footing around the issue and going back to grovelling at the humans' feet for a measly compromise is going to help us now either. I would prefer to keep my dignity in check while also not giving them cause to slander us as monsters by behaving like one. This is the line of moderation that, I'm sure, Councilor Arden is trying to impress upon us." she added, taking a verbal stab at both of the winged girls while she was at it. Extremism was too ...messy for her tastes. It usually was the sort that blew up in their faces, making the world a much more dangerous place. Throwing out an olive branch in the humans' direction would not do them any good either, now that Queens had been destroyed.

There were just some lines that, once crossed, offered no hope of turning back. That operation was one of those times and, the more she thought about it, so too was this situation. Regardless, Yerrick still had to give them the actual details of the mission, or else all they would end up doing tonight would be arguing over heresay, rumors and opinions. Why get all worked up over something, when the real issue had just to be mentioned. So, hands still folded neatly in her lap, Beryl waited for the long and laborious speech that Yerrick usually tortured them through.

Yerrick took a long exasperated sigh, crumpled up his paper, and threw it over his shoulder. "Alright," he said, his voice tired, "what I intend on doing tonight is taking out High Commander Lela Dartour. I also would have liked to burn down her entire building, which - might I add - is a block away from the United Nations building. With that being said, the burning of the building may be extreme, but I like to leave an impression. The thing is, the humans don't play fair. They already think of us as monsters, but they won't cast the next move until we do something to provoke them."

He stood straight, his wings twitching with unconstrained excitement, "and that is exactly what we shall do. With Lela Dartour gone, it will eat away one major hole in the military's defenses. Not only that, but that bastard Alfred what-ever-his-name-is will also reemerge from the above-world. Most likely to come hunting after glory. But once he comes into the Underground, there won't be a chance for him to turn back. We tried to rationalize with him and his men last time, but... It didn't work, we were too easy, and they most definitely got what they wanted. Well, there will no longer be any more 'nice halflings'. I can assure you all that I've had it with sitting my my - pardon me - ass and just waiting. Now, that brings up a second topic that is very delicate."

Ava leaned forward while Donovan eyed his peer. The Cheetah was wondering if Yerrick had completely lost it or was sick of taking the back seat to the main Council members demands. The latter was pretty reasonable, as Broderick, Blaze, and Clara all seemed to take advantage of the man's good nature. They stomped all over him because for Yerrick, brother and sisterhood meant that any iniquities against him would be forgiven. Donovan supposed that his life-long friend had been sick of it for some time. Especially concerning Ava's birth, which Blaze vehemently opposed. At that though, Donovan wondered quietly when someone would tell Ava that she wasn't meant to continue causing a ruckus in the underground, but that she was destined for far better things - possibly halfling salvation.

Donovan remained quiet and introspective, letting Yerrick finish, "I will no longer be on the current board of Council members, as a matter of fact, what I really hope to do is create a new one. This, unfortunately, will take time and may not happen in the near future. But I guarantee you all - it will happen. The stigma against muddled bloods will be abolished, much like the humans did with their races years ago. We are running our government in a completely archaic and unstable way, and the halflings have been shown one path and that is to self destruct - hence the loss of Razel, a general for the Conclave. I can no longer tolerate such outbursts, which grow more common with each passing summer. This will no longer be an issue, though, and I will make sure of that."

He stared at all of them, eyes hardened and mouth set in a straight line. His hair gently fell over his shoulder while his tan skin was wrinkled by the eyes and mouth - his age was starting to show and with it came the appearance of a wise oracle.

---

"I am usually tolling forums while I'm here - I like to be a pest online too. But you can chill with me. Neon is barely able to communicate at the moment, or any moment really - living in America for the last ten years should have helped dissolve the language barrier, but he honestly has no brains." Han said this with a quirky little smile as he stirred his chocolate milk and shoveled the scrambled eggs into his mouth. "You can hang with me for now," the nerd repeated again, smoothing down his reddish-brown hair. He adjusted his thick framed glasses and then leaned back in his chair, "I mean, you don't have to. I know I'm not exactly the most exciting person or anything - but it would be better for you to just stick with me rather than visiting Leslie who's liable to rape you - no joke, man. And Lela's been in such a bitch mood that I highly doubt you want to confront her without a ball cup."

As Han pushed away from the table, he turned to look at Gary with his mouth open - a though he was going to make mention of something important. Suddenly, Lela erupted again, screaming from the other room as the blades of some tool struck at metal, "you are not going out tonight, Han! Not going to let you go out." The rest of her words were muffled, but Han understood plain as day the few blurbs he got out of that and those were, "not going out" and "call your mother". At that, he sat back down and put his hands over his face, rubbing roughly at his skin. "I guess that means I won't need to use the PC again, and I should probably call the club I was supposed to DJ at tonight," the boy said, although it didn't sound as though he were mad - just incredibly tired.

He pushed his chair back and took his plate to the sink in a listless manner, finishing off his chocolate milk. He dropped the glass into the sink and it clanged around a bit - but the sound was drowned out by Lela's metal grinding. Han rubbed the back of his head and then folded his arms over his chest while he leaned on the counter top, "why don't you finish that? We can take a walk and get out a bit - the weather is waaay better - I really need to get out and I don't want to see you standing in a corner in your broodishly handsome ways thinking about much you hate our A-Team." He grinned slightly at that, although he didn't really have much emotion to back that smile up with.

"So, let me get this absolutely clear," Beryl began, making sure that all the details were explored in a painstaking manner. "You want us to take out the High Commander in her home. Then you want us to burn the home. Now, how should we go about with that? Sniper on the roof getting a head shot in? Faulty elevator? Gas leak? Knock on the door and give it to her right off the bat? Do we torture first, or just aim to kill? Does the entire building need to be removed? Do we pull fire alarms before the detonation blast so that uninvolved civilians get out? How are we going to handle this, Yerrick?"

The questions were numerous, sure, but they were important. One doesn't just wander over to the High Commander's home, ring the door bell and leave flaming poop on the welcome mat - there had to be a definate plan. She didn't want to discuss the theoretical merits of the 'new council' quite yet because it was just an idea to bandy about the room at the moment. She didn't want to bring up questions regarding purity and the halfling society's fixation on it. It certainly wasn't something that would be celebrated. It took a long for these changes to be made, and she didn't think the world was ready for them.

---

"I... I don't know." Gary said, feeling and looking tired. He didn't know why, or bothered with, the comment about 'handsomely brooding' because he certainly did not feel even remotely attractive right now. He didn't want to. There was no one to attract. In a way, then, the man was glad that Han was not going to drag him to a club or troll forums. He wasn't up to any sort of social interaction that took place between machines or strangers. Gary finished off his coffee and whatever he could off the plate, trying not to think much on anything. "And I don't ...hate the team." he added glumly, "I dislike having my mind f-cked several times in one sitting, if you'll pardon my lapse in manners."

"And I know it's not your fault, or Neon's or even Leslie's - I just wished that I would have been told about how covert you guys are. I wish I didn't know that I was being stalked by a woman whose alias is Annette. Those things alone are giving me a headache, you know? For goodness sake, it's only the afternoon! I could maybe handle one or the other within a span of several months, not this close together." he sighed, rubbing his temples before getting up. "So, lead on. Perhaps the weather will be better than what it was a few minutes ago."
